Town have failed to have Pablo Couñago's red card at Scunthorpe overturned. An FA Regulatory Commission heard the Blues' appeal earlier today but upheld referee Iain Williamson's initial decision to dismiss the 28-year-old. |

Striker Pablo Couñago could face a further three-match ban if the FA charge and find him guilty of spitting at Scunthorpe's Andy Butler in the incident which led up to his red card at the weekend. The Spaniard already faces an automatic three-game suspension for being sent off for violent conduct. |
